Photos taken during 1988-1989

Ian Bedford (right) donated the land on which the society built their first dome (square base) in 1986.
The second dome (round base) is larger and was privately owned by Ian and housed a 76cm (30")
Newtonian-Cassegrain
reflecting telescope (below).
He later sold this dome and land to the society but kept the telescope for his new observatory.

  The societies 50cm (20") Newtonian-Cassegrain reflecting telescope
is now housed in Ian's old dome and a 46cm (18") telescope (not shown) is now housed in the societies smaller dome.
