Where is The Lions Club of Mitcham?
The Lions Club of Mitcham is located within
the boundary of the
City of Mitcham. Mitcham is an inner
southern suburb of the City of Adelaide, South Australia.
When does the club meet?
The club meets on
the first and third
Thursday of each month. These meetings are dinner meetings which combine a
business and social focus.
Where does the club meet?
The club meets at the Edinburgh Hotel, High
Street, Mitcham at 6:00 pm for 6:30 pm.
How many members does the club have?
The Lions Club of Mitcham
currently has 32 members.

What does the club do?
The club engages in a wide variety of
activities and some recent and ongoing projects include:

Youth Scholarships.

Carols by the Creek in
conjunction with the
Mitcham City Council
-
Lions Youth of the Year
Quest.

Historical walks signage in
the Mitcham area.

Assisting with the Pedal Prix.

Financial support for local
youth and senior citizens.
-
Maintaining the Brown Hill
Creek Reserve.
-
BBQ at Pinky Flat with reserve
tickets to the Hardcourt Tennis in January.

Maintaining the historical
Nellie's Garden at the Mitcham Railway Station.

Quest Skills for Living - a drug
education programme for schools.
